Personal Description:

I am an experienced French native teacher who teaches French at all levels to adults and children. I am encouraging, patient and considerate. I have ben working exclusively as a French tutor for the last 10 years and I love it. I tutor online. My academic students consistently achieve good results and I particularly enjoy helping adult learners reaching their goals with the French language.

Teaching Experience:

I have a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages French Specialism and I have taught in British secondary schools for more than ten years. I have plenty of experience teaching French to pupils of all abilities at A level, GCSE, KS3. I have experience with the WJEC, the Common Entrance French, AQA, and Edexcel examinations. I love tutoring French to adults from absolute beginners to advanced levels. I also offer stimulating conversation sessions.

Teaching Approach:

I am a patient, encouraging, caring teacher who wants my learners to feel comfortable and to enjoy their lessons. I provide individual personalised lessons with a lot of activities to progress in French. I understand the difficulties students might encounter in their learning and explain things as clearly as possible. I make sure my academic students practise with exam questions/papers. With adult learners I often use a combination of quality BBC and DELF courses which I adapt individually to optimise my students' progress. I keep my students motivated by sharing my enthusiasm of France and the French language.

The sessions with Stephanie were extremely helpful, and improved my conversational skills significantly. She was always very punctual, attentive, and tried to find the best methods to help me, by choosing new topics to discuss with new vocabulary. I wholeheartedly recommend Stephanie!
