Information About Stéphane - Bishops Castle teacher

Personal Description:

I`m a French native speaker, born in Toulouse.
I emigrated to Australia in my mid-20s and came to call Britain home since 2000.

*Based in Bishop's Castle, Shropshire and willing to tutor students locally for in-person lessons. Or ONLINE ( as was the case during Covid - many still prefer this method, as it allows for much more flexible times/ avoids travel) .

I find it extremely rewarding, on a personal level, to see a student go from strength to strength, whatever their initial level. Nothing motivates me more than passing on knowledge helping others succeed.

I already have students enrolled for the coming term but still have availability most days.

Teaching Experience:

I started teaching about 25 years ago in France and have had experience tutoring children, teenagers and adults alike.
I was an English language instructor for the French army in my 20s.
I also have experience as a translator for private companies.
Before Covid, I taught French classes at the Fairfield Park Lower School in Stotfold, near Letchworth

Teaching Approach:

I offer One-to-one tutoring or small-group lessons.

At ease with children of all ages as I am with adults who may have more professional or social needs.
I`m very easy going, yet experienced and confident to deliver the results my students expect.

Languages should be fun and enjoyable to learn, never a burden. In that respect, I always make sure to be teaching practical French, with a focus to increase my students' confidence - which in my experience is the key to ongoing happy learning.
