Information About Sophie - Wallsend teacher

Personal Description:

Hi there, my name is Sophie and I am a Modern Languages graduate from Newcastle University. I studied German, Spanish and French and I am a native English speaker.

Teaching Experience:

I have experience teaching non-native speakers English throughout my University career. I have also taught high school children Spanish and German for two years.

Teaching Approach:

My teaching approach is that students learn when they are engaged in the topic. In one-to-one sessions I allow my students to pick a field that they are interested in, and we use that as a springboard to discuss the more complex grammar and vocabulary of a language. I myself am very enthusiastic about teaching and I know that having an enthusiastic teacher can make all the difference!
