Information About Sophie - Newham teacher

Personal Description:

I was brought up bilingual French/English, and spent my childhood both in England and in France. I started Spanish at the age of 13, and continued studying the language until the completion of my BA at University College London (currently ranked 7th in the world by the QS). My degree also included six months spent living in Buenos Aires, so I am happy to teach either European or Latin American Spanish.

Teaching Experience:

I taught English to both adults and children at the community centre where I worked in Argentina. I also have some experience of instrumental teaching to both groups and private individuals.

Teaching Approach:

My approach to teaching depends on the student's goal. I am very happy to cover GCSE/A-Level work with pupils who may be struggling or want a more thorough knowledge of their course content outside the classroom; in which case, I will teach according to to the content of the syllabus. For adult learners, I am available to work towards professional linguistic goals, or even simply to brush up on a language that may be half-forgotten before a holiday or seeing friends.
