Information About Silvia - Streatham teacher

Personal Description:

I am Silvia , an Italian tutor based in London. I am an Italian national with experience tutoring non-Italian speakers, and I am passionate about sharing languages and cultures. After my undergraduate studies in Japanese language in my home country, I moved to England 3 years ago. Outside of tutoring, my interests include theatre, filmmaking and martial arts.

Teaching Experience:

I have just completed a Masters course at the Guildford School of Acting. During this time I have been tutoring Italian to students from all over the world (Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, American), with the focus on developing their confidence and interest in the language. I have also tutored Italian for students preparing for exams, up to and including A Level.

Teaching Approach:

My interest in different cultures and my experiences in travelling have taught me how to adapt my tutoring style, depending on the student and their background. My goal is not only to teach the language itself, but also the culture around it, in order to build their confidence in using the language in a much deeper, more creative level.
