Information About Shirley - Prescot teacher - (7 reviews)
This is how 4 referees rated Shirley:
I am 47 years old with over 20 years' teaching experience. I taught French and Spanish in a secondary school for 17 years but I learnt Italian as an adult. I did GCSE and the rest of my Italian, I have learnt in Italy. I go each year to a school for Italian as a foreign language in different parts of the country. I have incorporated travelling around the country during my studies.
I have over 20 years' teaching experience of both French and Spanish, up to GCSE level in schools. In 2012, I left mainstream teaching and set up as a private tutor . During my time as a private tutor, I have worked with children as young as four years of age and also worked with adults who need to learn languages for work purposes, personal interest or as a hobby in retirement. Some of my customers took up their interest for languages when they bought a house abroad, some learn a language for work and some learn just for holidays.
I have a friendly approach to students and am happy to work as an individual tutor and also to a small group. I have found home tutoring to be extremely rewarding and enjoy seeing the progress that students make. I am happy to teach all ages from young children to adults who require language tuition for work or holidays or pleasure. Lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student
