Personal Description:
Achieve your study goals with an experienced, patient, supportive, friendly, and resourceful tutor. I can help you pace yourself and manage the learning process smoothly and efficiently. Having studied at 'brick universities' as well as at The Open University gives me a deep understanding of the requirements of teaching online with ease and efficiency.
Prior to recently completing studies in Psychology (BSc and MSc), I completed an 'MA in Applied Linguistics and Translation' and a 'BA in English Language and Literature'. I am qualified and experienced in teaching English/Arabic as a foreign language (Postgraduate Diploma in TEFL and RSA C.O.T.E.). I have taught translation theory. I am fluent in Arabic.

Teaching Experience:
Extensive experience in teaching: taught languages (both English and Arabic as foreign languages) and translation at university level, school level and for occasional adult learners (both formally and privately). Familiar with teaching various age groups and ranging from Primary stage to University level and adult occasional learners.
I have previously taught various subjects at the University of London and the University of Westminster; in addition to various freelance teaching and translation positions abroad during my years living abroad.

Latest September 2022- Since working with Sherin for almost a year , I wish to update my review:
I had instruction under Sherin for almost a year whilst in my final year at university and she was excellent. In fact she was more than excellent. She was part of my learning journey and I with her teaching and instruction I was able to achieve a 1st Class degree. Sherin planned her lessons around my curriculum and learning objectives and was able to explain things in a way that made it easy to understand. I cannot rate her highly enough. She is that rare teacher who is passionate about their subject and whose enthusiasm is infectious.
I’m enjoying learning so much with Sherin.
Sherin has given me the confidence to study and has helped me tremendously over the two years I have been with her. With her calmness, patient and care I have been able to master how to structure an essay with regards to content and relevant material. She has gone over and above her role as a tutor. I have learnt so much in such a short time.
I feel extremely lucky to have come across Sherin. She is an outstanding tutor who is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely cares about her pupils and their accomplishments.
