Personal Description:
A highly qualified and experienced language teacher with French /English educational background. Friendly, encouraging and ready to adapt to personal learning styles.creative and innovative approach to teaching.I have had many private students at home, where I have a wealth of materials to back up my lessons, as well as satellite TV to provide listening practice in all languages offered.
Teaching Experience:
40 years language teaching experience ranges from individual tuition to classes in private language schools, colleges and universities.I have worked mainly in the UK, but also in France, Spain, Egypt, Algeria, and Tunisia. Most work has been with young adults though I also have experience with children and older adults. I have also helped students with translation and academic work (MAs and PhDs in English).
Teaching Approach:
Friendly, encouraging and ready to adapt to personal learning styles. Creative and innovative approach to teaching. A language degree and MA in Translation ensure a very sound linguistic knowledge to apply to my teaching, while a Diploma in TESOL enhanced excellent teaching skills.
