Personal Description:

I hold a BA Hons in English, a diploma in secretarial studies (French and Spanish endorsed at postgradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel) and a diploma in German (standard: third year degree level).
I also speak some Welsh as I have family there and my two nieces and nephew are growing up totally bilingual! I am DBS checked.

Teaching Experience:

I have over forty years of experience as a private tutor who has coached to A level, both at home and in students' homes, and latterly, online. Pupils have come as a result of recommendation or through various tutoring agencies.

Teaching Approach:

I am especially committed to teaching grammar as a tool that enables my students to express themselves quickly and in a wide range of circumstances. Grammar is exciting, logical and hugely helpful - not boring, difficult and an obstacle. My pupils also learn surprising facts about English as they study foreign languages.
