Personal Description:

I grew up using two different languages, both at home and in school. So, I have expressed some self-motivation or maybe have been encouraged to learn and use both languages equally, but at the end this was worth it.

What experience did I gain from this? Well, first I believe I found it subconsciously fun to carry on doing it, as I could
• participate in two or more different rich cultures,
• play with and compare the meaning of words,
• play with the order of words in a sentence to create different meanings,
• develop certain skill for multi-tasks,
• to get interested into other cultures and consequently self-motivated to learn a third language of this new culture.

And you know what, I want to continue using 2, 3 different languages and maybe to learn 4,5 more ones because I believe in what scientists states nowadays that if you speak two languages, the risque of getting dementia decreases (Klimova, Blanka et al. “Bilingualism as a strategy to delay the onset of Alzheimer's disease.” Clinical interventions in aging. 2017, 12, 1731-1737).

Teaching Experience:

Volunteered to teach a class of children in Primary Schools
Taught evening classes for adults (French for Beginners and conversation courses) at local colleges.
Run 10 weeks course for adults (French for Beginners) at my local library.
Private tutoring running up to date (Adults and children).

Teaching Approach:

I don't have to tell you that more you are transparent about your motivation/purpose of why you like to learn a new language (here French), more my pedagogy in teaching will be tailored around this.

No doubt that there is more or less a classic approach in teaching implemented, which could be social/game based or project/self-management skills based or critical thinking based… etc

Overall, me as your tutor is here to listen to you and guide you towards an enjoyable learning of this beautiful language.
