Personal Description:

Bonjour/Guten Tag!
My name is Rosie and I’m currently studying French, German and Portuguese at university. Languages have been a passion of mine since I started studying them for my GCSE’s. Speaking different languages is crucial, it improves communication skills and opens a doorway into rich diverse cultures. Not to mention the positive impact it has on the brain!
I think I’d make a great tutor mainly because of my passion for these languages and their respective cultures.

Teaching Experience:

. Language leaders award - sharing expertise with others in community, I taught French at a local primary school

Teaching Approach:

a lot of language courses require endless grammar and vocabulary learning. For me, this is important, yet an unbalanced way to learn. It is also important to understand the culture, and to integrate immersive learning including passive immersion. Like listening to a podcast, or reading articles on subjects that interest you, for me this is crucial, as it helps you remain passionate about your studies!
