Personal Description:
I am currently pursuing a varied career as a specialist coach in French and English as a Foreign Language (Accent Reduction/Softening included) - as well as Latin.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught extensively in schools, colleges, industry/commerce (eg Michelin Tyre Company) and freelance.
Organized, enthusiastic and motivating, I enjoy the proven ability to communicate material successfully to individuals and groups of all ages, and have accordingly gained the respect, appreciation and love of hundreds of students (young and old) in my 25 years' experience as a teacher, lecturer and private tutor.
Teaching Approach:
Key words for me as a trainer are clarity, simplicity, patience, variety, appropriately graded steps, achievable but real challenges, empowerment and fun - all with a view to ensuring my students make the progress and enjoy the learning satisfaction they deserve.

From Maggie (/5): Prue is the perfect teacher for me; I have every confidence that she will get me to the standard I need to be at in the time that I have available. I was impressed with Prue's abilities right across the board, in terms of communication, fluency, understanding of her pupil, speed of working; and all that with an easy, relaxed air. I mistakenly turned up 45 mins early, and she was very accommodating, changing the lesson time to suit me. I'm very much looking forward to my next lesson with her.
From Christine (/5): She is experienced tutor understand and find my problem. Explain and describe very clearly and various way to me to understand my problem and what I have to change. Every lesson is challenge for me but I am really enjoying, finding my pronunciation issue and the solution. I also learning a clear manner of speaking from her.

Before meeting she asked me questions on why I wanted to learn and how exsperience I am - In Order for her to have an idea before the lesson. I needed it for an audition and had little time. The amount I learnt in just one hour has blown my mind!! I’ve learnt so much in just two sessions and already feel so much more confident in the language! She explained everything and why things are pronounced - she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and didn’t overwhelm me with too much. Best teacher I’ve ever had and I got complimented on my speaking and pronunciation of the language at my audition!! Just after two sessions. Could t recommend enough. Thank-you so much
