Personal Description:

Hello, I grew up in Hong Kong but moved to the United Kingdom since I was 16 for my studies. Cantonese is my native language, but I also speak English and Mandarin fluently. I can offer you conversation practice sessions to teach you how to use these two languages in different settings, and can tailor the content of the lessons to meet your unique needs, whether you would like to learn these two languages for work, studies or your upcoming travels. I can also provide training in writing and reading, but my primary focus would be to improve your listening and speaking skills so you could really apply the languages in your daily life. Teaching Experience:

I have tutored primary and secondary students on various subjects before and am skilled in understanding different students' needs and how to tailor my approach accordingly. Teaching Approach:

I believe that a positive, encouraging approach can not only inspire students to keep learning but also make learning a language more fun! Instead of following a rigid textbook schedule, my lessons would be lighter, more fun and flexibly adjusted based on the student's abilities and progress. I will focus on developing the students' practical usage of the languages so they can always have something tangible to takeaway after each class.
