Personal Description:
I am a native French speaker and have lived in the UK for the last 25 years.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught at the Alliance Française in Cambridge both children and adults with specialist subjects. I am now teaching assistant in a secondary school where I focus on one to one tuition and small groups preparing for Gcse and a level. I also take one to one students with difficulties in other classes to bring them back to level.
I have also tutored privately for the last 15 years.
Teaching Approach:
Flexibility is the key. There are as many ways of teaching as there are students. Everyone learns in a specific way and I try early on to identify what makes it easy for someone to understand and I adapt my methods accordingly. Having had the experience of engaging students with no particular interest in languages, my methods are varied. I also always finish a lesson with a positive step, ready for the next one.

From Colleen (/5): My daughter has been working with Pascale for a couple of months. She was forecast a grade 3, had 3 sessions with Pascale, and achieved a 6 in her GCSE mock exams. Her teacher told us it is the strongest improvement that she has ever seen in a student. Pascale is always on time and comes prepared for each session. We can't recommend Pascale highly enough.

From Anthony (/5): Pascalle is a patient and understanding tutor that is dealing well with 2 pupils with slightly different levels of experience in the French language.
She has been flexible in understanding what we want to achieve and what is required to get us where we need to be.
We have had a thorough grounding on the grammar of the language, explained very coherently, and now are being pushed via conversation sessions. These sessions are initially challenging to say the least, but we beleive need to happen to progress our French.
Overall the lessons are always positive and handled with skill and humour
