Personal Description:

I am an experienced, qualified , DBS checked Modern Languages teacher and tutor for all levels and abilities. I have gained my MA in Modern Languages in Italy and gaimed my experience in the UK. I can deliver a tailor made lesson plan to suit every student with conversation and /or grammar book to match the student's needs and overall linguistic ability. I will normally use the first lesson to gauge the student ability with a test and then will plan together how we will move ahead. I will then make a selection of text-books to show the student and decide together which book will work best for his/her needs and level of ability.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught in primary, secondary, university and business companies in the past. I have taught university modules, business language courses, survival language courses and fun coffee morning lessons. I am well trained for preparing GCSE and A level students in Italian and French and I am aware of the new GCSE and A level specification for Aqa and edexel examining boards. I have done Skype lessons in the past and I am available also for this type of tuition.

Teaching Approach:

I am always trying to include the four skills in my lesson (reading, listening, speaking and writing) together with 10 minutes of grammar to be reinforced with homewoek exercises, I also use a selection of online interactive activities and newspapers online in Italian and French. I occasionally use learning language games to end the lesson in a more relaxed mode. I have many satisfied students and I am now looking forward for the next linguistic challlenge.
