This is how 2 referees rated Panchita:
I was born and bred in Bangkok Thailand and have been living in England for nearly 8 years. I speak fluent English (some say I speak English with American twang, which is due to the fact that I spent one year as an exchange student in the United States), but I have been trying to work on modifying my accent to sound a bit more British (still in the process!) :) I always have a passion about teaching as I taught English language as a part-time job to both young and adult learners for over 10 years while living in Thailand and I have discovered teaching is one of the most rewarding and challenging jobs in the world. I have been teaching quite a few British students Thai language so far and would love to explore more opportunities to promote my beautiful language and enchanting culture.
I started teaching English as a part-time job since my second year in the university. After graduating in 2000, I continued teaching English for 11 years, both in private session and classroom environment.
While pursuing MA degree in TEFL at Thammasart University, I got invited to teach Summer English course at Assumption Sueksa School in Bangkok. And just before I moved to the UK, I was teaching evening courses (Adult students) at Recovery English Language Institute at Silom branch.
Apart from the fact that I speak fluently both Thai and English, my passion for teaching is tremendous. I am a kind of person who enjoys explaining things, regardless of how complicated they are, especially when it comes to languages. When I teach, I will always make sure the learning experience is a pleasant and motivational journey to my students.
I adapt my teaching approach to students' needs & learning styles to ensure they achieve their learning goals. Most English students who have learned Thai language with me want to converse fluently with the locals while travelling in Thailand, so my lessons are always interactive and practical, as well as packed full of fun as I normally add bits of anecdotes and basic knowledge of Thai culture to make the lessons worthwhile.
