Personal Description:
FIRST LESSON FREE - "Everything should be as simple as possible and no simpler," said Einstein and that is my motto. I only charge £12.50 because the lessons are online BUT they are as good as in person.
Teaching Experience:
I'm a native speaker with 30 years of experience teaching Spanish. In that time I have developed a fun, quick, powerful, and easy way to learn the 1000 words that you need to speak 80% of what is generally used.
Teaching Approach:
I tailor my lessons around the student's requirements, interests, values and goals, and I pride myself in making learning entertaining, effective, fast, and fun.
I have a University Computer Science degree, I'm a life coach and passionate about education. I am flexible when booking lessons and I have a CRB/DBS check certificate.

He makes lessons comfortable with his humor, takes time to learn about his student. He also suggests what kind of music or instrument will be better for us. From Sumera (/5): Oscar has a been a great find on First Tutors. He was quick to respond to my query, took the time to understand what I was looking for and offered a free trial lesson. He has unique approach to teaching and takes the time to know his student’s learning style. His plans his lessons around that. Both my 10yr old and 4yr old look forward to his lessons, are motivated to explore things they learnt and have a great sense of achievement every time they master one key. Highly recommended!

Whether it be guitar, keyboard or vocal exercises, Oscar's fun, creative and humorous approach to everything really helped me to understand and learn so much more than what I intended to seek. Being someone who gets nervous a lot, he has really made me comfortable and at ease all the while boosting my confidence and bringing me out of my hardened shell. From Jul (/5): Oscar had just one piano lesson with our daughter ,reason for having just one lesson is that her previous teacher got in touch and she preferred to carry on with the previous one 'considering they've known each other for three years'. Oscar is very pleasant and my daughter enjoyed her lesson.

Your teaching at home facilities need to be looked at, as I was not comfortable with having a one to one lesson in a room that was a bedroom.
Neither were my family.

Reply from: Oscar: I am must point out that I am utterly bewildered by your negative feedback. Specially since before you left I asked you how you would rate our first session out of 10 and you said 7 and then changed your mind and said 7.5.
I live in a one bedroom flat. There is a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom and small kitchen and it is most unfortunate that you seem to have confused my sofa for a bed and decided to give me a negative review before coming for the second of the two free lessons I offered you. I also offered you a free CDROM course valued at £45 also for free. I am not sure what else I could have done.
No one has complained about where I live in the 14 years that I have been living and teaching from home. I have been teaching for over twenty years, I have taught at schools, businesses and privately and this is the first time something like this has ever happened. Clearly nothing is so simple that it cannot be misunderstood and the greatest problem in communication is the illusion that it has been accomplished.
I am sorry that we got off to an unfortunate start and if you change your mind and would like two more free Spanish lessons then I would be very happy to oblige.
To any one reading this, please know that I extend the same courtesy to you as I did to this lady. TWO free Spanish lessons and a most awesome CDROM course also for free.

He will be able to help you learn songs according to your tastes and has a relaxed approach to teaching. He is also always willing to accomodate for any kind of special needs & takes time to listen. My little girl loves the way he makes things simple and the fact that he teaches her singing as well as playing the guitar. My son AIden had 4 lesson so **Web Address Removed**'s going good.One thing Aiden has pointed out was that he needs more finger training.As he often plays a piece mainly using his right hand and at intervals he needs use his left hand to accompany the piece and lot of the time he does make the right intervention with his left hand,because he switched on using right hand.
