Personal Description:
Hi everyone! I speak five languages (Russian, Italian, English, Czech, and Spanish).
Teaching Experience:
After years of experience, I developed my own way of learning languages
and have helped a plethora of students from different nationalities with the below:
- work in a different country than their own, using the local language or a de-facto lingua franca
- overcome the barrier of speaking a second language
- successfully achieve an IELS certificate
- travel in a foreign country and interact with locals
- enrol into a university in a foreign country
Teaching Approach:
I carefully prepare my lessons in accordance with the abilities, needs and goals of my students, which are usually discussed during the very first lesson together.
The common denominator for my teaching is NOT to learn articles or memorize words and phrases from books, such as "1000 popular words", nor to write endless grammar exercises.
Instead, we will practice grammar while discussing real-life topics. Furthermore, you will learn phrases familiar to you that can be used in your everyday life in order for you to build “your” vocabulary.
You will understand that making mistakes is normal and a natural process of learning a new language.
Finally, after setting the right goals we will try to make the experience of learning a language as interesting and fun as possible!

From Zoe (/5): Highly recommended!! Easy to understand lessons with clear learning outcomes. I've used Duolingo and other (free) apps for around a year now and although they have helped me to build my Italian vocabulary, I was still unable to easily string a sentence together that actually made sense or that I might use in an everyday conversation. I felt more confident using every day Italian language after just one intro lesson with Olga!

From Bryan (/5): Olga is fantastic! Her lessons are well structured and completely tailored to what my goals are for learning Russian. Russian is quite a daunting language to try and get your head around but she has made the lessons fun and interesting PLUS she is very patient and understanding when you are struggling (which for me is quite a lot of the time!). I'm slightly reluctant to give her the wonderful feedback she deserves as that will mean more people will want to book her for lessons and she may run out of time for me! :-(
Jokes aside - this is the first time I have ever tried to use a resource like this or tried to learn a new language so I was sceptical on a number of fronts but from the very start Olga has dispelled those thoughts and made me believe that I may actually be able to do this! STOP reading this and BOOK her now. She is quite simply - AWESOME.

I have only had 2 lessons with Olga, but being a tutor myself i can tell she knows what she is doing and she is good at it! I told her what i needed and she totally got it. The lessons are very consistent but relaxing in the same way. I would highly recommend her!
