Information About Nour - Brighton teacher

Personal Description:

I am an Arabic native speaker, from Syria. currently doing PhD in Pharmacy at sussex university.
Helping non-Arabs learning Arabic is my passionate since it helps them understand Quran better and get the most of it. I also enjoyTeaching Arab adults who have been raised here to practice and improve their Arabic language so they can know more about their culture.
I am interested in Reading, running and science. I look forward to having friendly relation with people seeking my help in learing Arabic or Quran.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching for long time, more than 7 years in science. Since I come to UK, 3 years ago, I have been teaching Arabic for primary and secondary learners, adult and kids.

Teaching Approach:

My teaching approach is based on following beliefs:

Practical approach where learners can start practicing thing they will learn from first session.

it is tutor's role to sustain tutee's motivation and inspiration to achieve better learning outcome.

it is essential to consider tutee's level and their purpose of learning Arabic to design teaching materials best suit them.

Discipline is needed to succeed anything in life, thus teacher should be a bit strict by giving assignments and gentely challenging learner within theri learning capabilities.

Bringing passive learning to the active form needs practice, patience, coordination between both teacher and learner. thus having friendly teaching environment is essential.
