Information About Nicola - Egham teacher

Personal Description:

!Hola! I am an 18 year old native Spanish speaker from Colombia and am currently studying at Royal Holloway, University of London. I am extremely proud and enthusiastic about my culture and language which means that I love what I do. Not only will I be teaching the language itself but also its beautiful factors such as the accent (I am aware that students should learn the European Spanish accent), grammar, the culture and even how to articulate! As Spanish is in fact the second most widely spoken language in the world, I believe that the ability to speak it is extremely helpful not only for exams but for the future in the business world, or whatever you choose to do! My aim is to help students do well in their exams by making learning Spanish as fun and wonderful as it should be, and to show students that there is much more to learning a language than just boring revision and discipline.

Teaching Experience:

I began as a volunteer Spanish speaking teacher during my years at sixth form, I would help years 9, 10 and 11 with their pronunciation, choice of vocabulary, grammar, fluidity and confidence. I then decided to apply to the platform **Removed By Admin**to become a Spanish tutor and have been doing so for over a year now.

Teaching Approach:

I aim to take a calmer approach to teaching, meaning I prefer to make lessons enjoyable as I believe this to be the best way anyone learns. Although discipline is necessary to learn anything, I prefer to teach a language through the passion of the culture and the language itself so that students learn rather than just remember.
