Personal Description:

I am a Wokingham based personal tutor offering one to one and small group French and Spanish tuition including for adults; also conversation. I am fortunate to have been steeped in French and Spanish language and culture: I emigrated to SW France aged 16 so took the French Baccalaureate, attending an entirely French school and then too Spanish with my Degree (back in UK) meaning I spent my third year living, studying and working in Asturias, NW Spain (most of that time was spent living amongst Spanish students). I have used both languages regularly since those times to maintain fluency. Besides languages (and language), other passions include wine and travel.

Teaching Experience:

I have fitted a number of tutoring jobs around permanent office work since moving to Wokingham from London over a year and a half ago. I am now stepping up my French and Spanish tutoring however as I have left a 6 month contracted position so now enjoy more availability.

12 years ago I spent a month in Nepal which included a solid two week stint teaching English to pupils of all ages in the Chitwan district.

Teaching Approach:

I am passionate about languages and tutoring and am a firm believer in trying to master the grammatical aspects as well help with pronunciation. I would describe myself as meticulous but also truly empathic.
