Здравствуйте!

Hello, My name is Nataliya and I am a native Russian speaker. I am fluent in English and have basic knowledge of Korean. I was born and grew up in Moscow, Russia. My interests include Foreign Languages and Art and Design. I am a qualified Interior Designer and have been working in this profession alongside teaching English and Russian.

I offer high quality one/two-to-one tuition for children and adults and I am ready to tailor the lessons to students' needs. I have a flexible approach and also offer lessons via Skype.

Teaching Experience:

Having over 10 years of teaching experience, I tailor my teaching methods to the learner's individual skills and abilities. I start with small things, easy to master, so the learner could build their confidence from the very beginning. I make the process more intensive where I see that a certain grammatical structure, or a word combination is familiar. I proceed to encourage the learner to build up on that and see how similar structures work, what the appropriate and inappropriate uses are, etc. I use a wide range of teaching techniques relying on both language textbooks, as well as exercises I prepare myself.

I teach all ages and all levels. They include: "survival" Russian for those who are planning their trip to Russia; Russian for beginners ( pre ) - intermediate Russian; GCSE Russian; A-level Russian; University Russian; Business Russian. I have a comprehensive portfolio of students that is made up of children, young teenagers, and adults. I have a varied level of teaching throughout and also work with many corporate clients to assist with advanced levels of Russian for business.

Teaching Approach:

As an experienced language learner I have managed to identify and employ some of the best methods for rapid language acquisition. That said, every learner is different and what works for one student may not work for another. Equally, while some students may have very specific aims, others may be casual learners. Perhaps you need to learn a language for business, you may have friends or relatives who speak another language, or perhaps you have simply taken an interest in one of the languages on offer. Whatever your needs, we can tailor tuition accordingly. Prior to our first session we shall discuss your goals and expectations, as well as any previous experience in language learning, before putting together a suitable study programme.

I have had particular success with students who had previously struggled to engage with a tutor, or were simply lacking confidence in their own ability. I enjoy the work I do and aim to share my positivity and drive for success with each new student that I meet.
