Information About Natalia - Mitcham teacher
I am native Spanish and my subject specialisms are Spanish and French. I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Law and Qualified Teacher Status (2004). I have also a Diploma in Translation (English-Spanish). I am a member of the General Teaching Council for England and Chartered Institute of Linguists.
I have over 4 years of experience teaching French and Spanish up to A-level; I have gained most of my experience teaching in highly successful schools, where results as well as a very high standard of teaching and learning are expected. I am also an AQA examiner and I am currently teaching a part-time A2 Spanish course at a College for Adults(Edexcel examining body).
In my lessons, I always give students the opportunity to think for themselves, with a wide variety of activities that can suit different learning styles. I encourage them to be aware of the learning process and to use their own ideas. Thus the students experience the success of their own achievements. I have come to understand the importance of sharing learning objectives and success criteria with pupils. Knowing exactly what is expected and how they can achieve this, allows them to focus more clearly on tasks. Pupils take responsibility for their own learning and this helps them make real progress.
