Personal Description:
I have done masters in English Literature from Pakistan and Masters in Applied Linguistics from Reading University, UK.
I am a creative writer and can draw as well. These two skills help me a lot in my teaching because sometimes using the pictorial descriptions are very essential to convey the abstract ideas and creativity in lessons keeps the interest alive and makes things easy to learn.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching English language and Literature for the last ten years in my country. Here in the UK I am working as an ESOL Tutor with the Training Connect.
Teaching Approach:
Being a creative writer I adopt creative ways of teaching language and literature. I use pictures and audios to help my students. In a language class, I believe in the following speaking proportion for teacher and learners: 30%:70% i.e. which means that the language class is more student focused.
