Information About Naomi - Merton teacher

Personal Description:

Bonjour! Hola!

I teach Modern foreign languages in a secondary school in London and I love languages! I am a native speaker of French, I learnt Spanish and German in school and I majored in Japanese at university! Let me help you discover the joy of being able to communicate in several languages!

Teaching Experience:

I am currently in my first year of teaching full time in a secondary school.

As part of my training, I taught for one year 4 days a week last year. Before that, I was a language assistant of French for a year in the UK. At university I majored in two subjects, one was Japanese, the other was "Teaching French as a Foreign language". Throughout the years I have assisted several people to get ready for French exams in a more unofficial way. I was animating languages sessions for university students while in exchange in Japan.

Last summer I was part of "Horizons académiques" in Switzerland. I lead French sessions for newcomers to Switzerland.

Teaching Approach:

I want to hear what you have to say and I can adapt to your needs, wants! The emphasis can be put on grammar or speech or more depending on what you want! I can also get you ready for GCSE/ A-level exams!

I wish to make language learning fun and not a burden so I like to include cultural anecdotes here and there and if you have a hobby we can try to centre the learning around that as well.
