Personal Description:

I am a native English speaker and an experienced and professional EFL teacher.

My speciality is teaching English as a Foreign Language / English as a Second Language / English as an Additional Language.

I have experience working with children as young as 3, up to adult learners, and with all levels from Beginners to Proficiency.

I have worked in several companies, covering various industries, teaching English to business professionals who require assistance with the language in order to progress in their careers.

I prepare students for FCE, IELTS and the Cambridge exam, as well as the Life in the UK test.

I also assist children and young adults with English Language & Literature homework, exam revision and assignments, through KS3, GCSE and up to A-Level standard.

Teaching Experience:

Since finishing my English Language & Literature degree I have worked as a private English tutor as well as a full-time English Language Teacher at the University of Bedfordshire, where I am
currently based.

Teaching Approach:

I believe that a friendly, helpful attitude is the most important thing to students when they are learning another language. I aim to create a safe environment and rapport with my students, so they are not afraid to make mistakes and be corrected. I believe that practice is the key to achieving a high level of English, so I encourage my students to speak as much as possible, about subjects that they are interested in.
