Information About Nadia - Spilsby teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Nadia:
Hello, I'm Nadia, in the picture I'm on the left. I am British, my Father is from Egypt and my mother is Egyptian, hence the mix! I am a positive individual with a passion for my job. I have travelled to many countries and worked in the States, Turkey, China, France and the UK also. I can genuinely say I am so happy with my life and the way it is turning out, hard work pays off. I am teaching my self Spanish currently, it is a challenge so I understand how important it is to have a great tutor! Being positive is key for me, I love to surround myself with good, warm hearted people. I hope to meet some of you soon…
I have nearly 2 years teaching experience, half of the first year being volunteering. I have taught Adults and Children in very different environments. In Beijing, I taught adults, from basic conversational English right through all the level up to Business Advanced Students. As well as holding a free talk session club weekly, where we all come together to practise our English in a calm, free environment. Delivering History and Culture presentations was also a big part of my job there. Teaching 3 - 5 years children was the biggest challenge in China. I also taught at a Private School in Essex, for ages up to 16. Nationalities from all over the world, Africa, Europe, Hungary, China, Japan, Russia, Uzbekistan and many more. Teaching in my home town of Lincoln in the UK was my volunteer work for half a year teaching conversational English to groups of around 8, mainly Spanish, Polish and Latvian. I have not been teaching long but I have taken to it so well and it seems to come natural to me. The most important thing is that I love what I do, therefore I hope you will love learning from me.
I believe I have a very pleasant approach to teaching. I do not enjoy to talk for the duration, the student pays a lot of money to practise and learn so the more you are talking the better in my eyes. I am here to guide you in the right direction and achieve your goals. I have been told many times, I am good at providing a relaxed, comfortable environment where it is OK to make mistakes. Mistakes are welcomed, otherwise how will you improve? Talking with a native British is so crucial to some people, so I understand that your time is precious. Teaching people who love to learn is an incredible feeling. Depending on the topic of the class, we will do the lesson differently each time. I will mainly find out your goals and what you want to achieve by what time and we will get there together. It is a team effort and I never want to see anyone to get frustrated or upset with themselves or their learning. I believe I am a great individual to guide the student in the right direction so they can fulfil their potential. Practise makes perfect, the more work you put in the more you get out of it. I am learning Spanish via myself, so I understand how hard it can be learning a new language for whatever reason. I just want to be there to ease the process and the fact that it is a massive passion of mine. Usually I can negotiate on price so please don't hesitate to message me if the price is the issue.
