Personal Description:

I am originally from Romania where I studied in a German medium school and took languages further at University. I gained a Bachelor Degree in Applied Modern Languages with the University Spiru Haret in Romnia and later I did my PGDE in Secondary German at the University of Aberdeen. During my NQT year I decided to do my Masters in Advanced Professional Studies part-time.

Teaching Experience:

I taught in a German medium school in Romania for a year this was during my University years in Romania and. I decided then that I like this profession and so persuit my dream. I came to England where I taught for 2 years as a Graduate and then moved to Scotland where I decided to do my PGDE in Secondary Education German. During my training and NQT year I taught in various schools across East Scotland and enjoyed it alot.

Teaching Approach:

I used ICT and games to promote the language and started thinking through a different perspective… I always motivate and support my pupils’ to make significant educational progress. I encourage my pupils to more independent learning by incorporating project work and self-assessment. I incorporate in my lessons the target language as much as possible as I have been studying in trough the medium of German myself.
