Information About Michael - Ledbury teacher

Personal Description:

I have an BA in English from Cambridge University and a postgraduate in Teaching from Kingston University. I have Qualified Teacher Status and also have a TEFL diploma. I have enjoyed helping people learn English for over 15 years.

Teaching Experience:

Since 2007, I have taught in the UK, South Korea and Italy. I have been teaching English online for the past 5 years to groups and individuals of all ages and levels.

Teaching Approach:

I am a calm and a empathetic teacher who loves meeting new people and learning about different cultures and people's life experiences. I have lived in many different countries, enjoy listening to and sharing stories with my students and love helping them to achieve their language goals. I genuinely care about my students and work with them to personalise each lesson. Each lesson is structured around a particular language aim and achieved through natural conversation and asking questions as I guide them gently towards a strong understanding of English. I have taught many of my students for a number of years and it is such a joy to see them grow into confident English speakers.
