Personal Description:

I am a 32 years old Education Professional and would love to help you out with a new language. I know what it feels like to stretch your eyes trying hard to understand a grammar book written in a foreign language, remember a new vocabulary and wondering how to pronounce "chiacchierare" or "sfogliatella" - I've been through all of that when I was learning English and Spanish, so I might understand your struggling.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching languages in different occasions: helping foreign children from Primary Schools to learn Italian, helping them out with their homework and teaching them basic grammar; teaching language to migrants and refugees; and I have also been giving private tuitions. My experience is furthermore strengthened by being an Education Practitioner, which allows me to keep up with the latest teaching methods and to build a good relationship with pupils.

Teaching Approach:

I believe that teaching on a one-to-one basis is very helpful while learning a new language: it allows the teacher to understand pupils' needs and concentrate on their difficulties. It helps to build a relationship between them. We all have something to learn from each other, and teaching is a way of helping knowledge pass from one to another. That's what it's all about! So, my philosophy is to co-operate with pupils to get the most from a lesson and at the end of it you will have a greater knowledge and a feeling your money has not gone to waste at all.
It may not work like that with everyone though, that's why I am giving you a first lesson for free!
