Enthusiastic Spanish tutor who is patient & flexible.
I am a fluent Spanish/English speaker with 35 years of experience providing Spanish tuition to pupils of all ages and abilities. I like to identify my pupil's weaknesses or areas where they do not feel so confident, so I can focus on to improve them.
Teaching Experience:
I am a fluent Spanish/English speaker with 40 years of experience providing Spanish tuition to pupils of all ages and abilities. I have taught for 9 years at Notre Dame High School as an FLA (foreign language assistant) assisting with A levels orals.
Experienced in teaching GCSE - IGCE - and A levels with excellent passing rates.
Teaching Approach:
Warm approachable and able to tailor lessons to an individual's requirements in order to help them to achieve language goals ranging from exam success to increased conversation skills in preparation for relocation to Spain. I believe is important to develop a good relationship with the pupil so that they feel at ease to ask any questions or concerns.

From Hannah (/5): María is an excellent teacher, nothing is too much trouble. Her patience is very good with me and I feel that I've made significant progress even after a few sessions. Her house is very welcoming, homely and friendly and I look forward to my lesson with her each week. I wouldn't hesitate recommending her!

She has helped me in every area of my learning (listening, oral, useful vocabulary and reading) and her help has made both my confidence and ability improve greatly. Before Maria's help I was a C grade student, but after a few months of tuition I am now predicted to obtain atleast a B in my A2 level. Highly recommended.
