Personal Description:

Hi, my name is María :) I am a Spanish native speaker currently living in Shrewsbury. I came to England 8 years ago after finishing my degree in Spain (BSc Environmental Sciences) and I am now a Qualified MFL Teacher by the University of Wolverhampton.
I consider myself a very enthusiastic, friendly and patient person who understands the struggle of learning a new language. Over these 8 years in England, I have been able to boost my English to a proficient level and also learn French.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching in different schools across Shropshire, from Key Stage 2 to GCSE level and I have also taught adults in 1 o 1 lessons. I teach Spanish, French and English.

She inspires confidence and explains everything with great patience. She is on time for every session and makes full use of the time allotted, as well as marking homework and giving feedback in between sessions. She is fantastic!

From Cassandra (5/5): María is a fantastic Spanish tutor. She provides lots of resources to assist with learning and work to do at home so you can practice. She is great at getting you to speak and helping you with your pronunciation which is something you cannot really get from learning independently. She is very supportive, friendly and easy to learn with! Highly recommend.
