This is how 2 referees rated Margaret:
I was born in Switzerland of a Swiss mother and English father. I grew up partly in Basel and partly in London. I married an Englishman 40 years ago and came to live in Cheshire. I Have two children, a son of 34 and a daughter of 25. My husband is a senior Technician and AutoCAD Lecturer at MUM.
I am a retired teacher of German, an examiner of German, German translator and interpreter. I worked for 35+ years for the Courts, the Customs and Excise and the police, as well as teaching German to GCSE and A level pupils; I also taught some business men.
I absolutely love teaching. I am thrilled when my former pupils achieve their goals, like going to uni to study German or to Manchester Grammar to continue with German. I love helping them and try and make it fun and interesting. Motivation is a big part of my teaching style.

She is just taking you into an atmosphere of talking, speaking in the language you learn and teaches you many words and rules.
Thank you Margaret
Off to Germany/Bavaria end of next week to hopefully put what I've learnt into practice. I would recommend Maggie to all abilities Thanks Maggie Lin X
Herzlichen Dank fuer Deine lieben Worte!
Thank you so much for your kind assessment. I thoroughly enjoy teaching German/English and hopefully that helps my pupils. It is my pleasure to help pupils to feel confident in using German or English.
I had never attempted to learn another language before so the prospect was quite daunting, however you know exactly how to introduce a novice like me to German and that has given me confidence to hopefully improve. I'm really enjoying learning German far more than I thought I would and that's thanks to you.
P.S. Maybe one day I'll even be able to speak a little Baseldytsch
I would definitely recommend her to anyone, she is a fantastic tutor.
