I am a native Czech speaker providing face-to-face or Skype lessons, during the daytime, in the evenings, or even weekends. Having worked as an English/Czech interpreter for many years, I am highly advanced in English too. I hold enhanced DBS certificate.
I teach English as a foreign language, ideally to Czech, Slovak, Polish or Russian students, as I am able to communicate in those languages (fully in Czech and Slovak, partially in Polish and Russian). I live in UK so English is a language that I use on everyday basis. One of my big passions is screenwriting and writing poetry, which I do in English language.
I have a decade of experience as an English/Czech interpreter (for hospitals, courts and other public services) and teacher of English as a foreign language, plus over two years of teaching Czech language.
My typical lesson consists of grammar, conversation and games, but I can be very flexible, depending on your preferences.
As you have to pay to obtain my details, I give each student (who contacts me via this website) fifty percent discount on the first lesson. During my lessons I like to go straight to the point so we will be working on the pronunciation within the first few minutes of the first lesson!
I believe that learning a foreign language should be fun and that part of all learning is making mistakes.
I have had my students bringing their own materials but I have plenty of my own materials - grammar and exercises.
