Information About Lynne - Hinckley teacher

Personal Description:

Hello. I am a semi-retired language and maths teacher living in Burbage, Hinckley. I have lived and worked in Spain, France and also Venezuela, where I taught TESOL (English as a Second Language.) As well as a private tutor, I also run a private counselling/coaching practise.

Teaching Experience:

I have over 20 years experience teaching languages, mostly in Main Schools Academies, but also in Adult Education, private 1:1 lessons and more recently in a Special Needs school. I have taught at all different levels from the complete beginner, holiday enthusiast, to the more advanced learner preparing for academic qualifications. (I have had particular success preparing students for their French and Spanish GCSE speaking examination).

Teaching Approach:

I have always loved the joy of teaching, in a wide range of environments from the classroom, to the individual and also in the corporate environment. My all inclusive approach allows the learner to make progress at their own individual speed, whilst encouraging students to adopt a risk taking, 'have a go' attitude. My teaching style is friendly, encouraging and above all fun! I believe the best way to learn is through variety and creativity and love producing my own customised resources to promote positive interaction and confidence in the spoken language.
