Personal Description:

Hi! I'm Lucy - I help students achieve expressive, confident spoken language through focused, relevant, daily practice!

Being a language learner myself I know the stress and trauma of speaking in front of others and feeling so frustrated. I'd been studying on my own and my confidence was at level 0, stumbling through poorly-constructed sentences and bad choices of vocab.

I'm here to take this panic away from you.

I also know what it's like out in the real world where you're speaking score doesn't help you make friends or politely speak to a new colleague. I want to give you the confidence to use your languages as a life skill, so you can communicate & express yourself fully - and maybe even make a joke!

Teaching Experience:

I am a TEFL (and soon to be CELTA!) qualified teacher with rich experience teaching online and in-class in England, France, Iceland & Greece plus seasonal language summer camps for young people.

I have taught and achieved top band results for students in their IELTS, TOEFL and Pearson exams, with a focus on natural-sounding, confident, expressive written & spoken English.

I have designed courses so I can help you reach the target level of speaking you need plus show you the skills you need to excel in any spoken English interaction.

1. We look at all the tools you need to speak well, in detail
2. I've got fun tasks & daily activities to make sure you're improving quickly
3. We then do loads of practice & assessments to track your progress!
