Personal Description:
My name is Lucie, I was born and raised in France before moving to the UK for my studies in 2012.
I have a BA in Applied Foreign Languages (English and Russian), an MA in Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching and an MA in Translation.
I am passionate about languages and currently translate for a living.
Teaching Experience:
Whilst studying for my BA, I gave French and English tutoring lessons to several clients in Besançon (France).
After my MA in Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching, I taught in several secondary schools (ages 11 to 15) as a supply English teacher for a year.
Teaching Approach:
I want to create a fun learning environment that is supportive and positive, so that learners are confident enough to engage, and therefore progress.
I believe there is no better way to learn a language than through conversations with native speakers, I am also familiar with the national curriculum and happy to tailor my lessons depending on each client's age, level and needs.
