Personal Description:

I am an experienced and enthusiastic French teacher and tutor. I have been a French tutor for over fifteen years and I have found that my work teaching in UK schools up to Advanced Highers (or A level) and my work as an examiner really helps me to design tailor made lessons. I have a proven track record – my tutoring really does help learners to achieve their language learning goals. I used to live near Lille, and then in Antibes in the south of France, and regularly visit to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.

Teaching Experience:

I have tutored for over twelve years, and after completing my languages degree in 2002, I then continued to do a postgraduate teaching qualification, and I have been a French teacher and tutor ever since! I have experience teaching learners who would like to achieve success in exams, or those wishing to develop holiday, conversational or business French.

Teaching Approach:

I am very enthusiastic and friendly. I find that my experience has led me to develop approaches to learning that are easy to understand and give learners the confidence and knowledge that they need to progress.

I like to develop tailor made lessons for each learner, and I feel that this is key – each learner is different and it is important for them to feel confident about their learning goals.
