Teaching Approach:

Every student is unique so all my lessons are tailor-made. Some students prefer to learn by a textbook. It this case I help them to select the best book suitable for their needs and level. Other students like to learn the language for their specific needs so I prepare special materials using various text-books, literature, films etc.
Over the years I have worked out a large selection of my own lesson plans. I know that the key for success in leaning language is motivation but sometimes it is not sufficient so I try to include in my lessons elements of history of Russia and also try to get the students acquainted with some aspects of the Russian culture, literature, music, folklore, national traditions and cuisine. In doing this I follow the input from students and try to cater for their specific interests. By my experience, learning a foreign language is easier when students find commonalities with their native language so I actively use this important aspect in my teaching.
