Personal Description:

I am a fun-loving person, passionate about languages. Calm, focused and happy, I aim to bring a positive direction for my students' learning. For me, French is poetic, descriptive and beautiful; Spanish is also beautiful, fun and singing, open to interpretation and play, as with all languages. Reading (books, newspapers or comics), writing (such as songs, stories or letters), listening (to music, friends, natives or the radio) and speaking are all quintessential to developing your language skills - and the most important aspect is to enjoy the process!

Teaching Experience:

I have completed the French element of an Open University degree and will finish the Spanish element in autumn 2012. A qualified TEFL (teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher, and with experience in teaching both French and Spanish, I bring creativity and fun to learning a language.

Teaching Approach:

I believe that learning is best done in a relaxed, happy atmosphere where the student is motivated and enthusiastic. Languages are one form in which we comunicate and they give us the ability to understand other people's culture, humour and day to day life. We see into another world of education and vision when we practise another language. When you wish for conversation only, we can develop your language skills following your areas of interest. Where writing, reading and grammar are desired, I will create tailored,creative lessons to suit your needs. I am happy to teach children and adults, individuals and groups.
