Personal Description:

I am a French and Spanish graduate with a real passion for language learning. I was fortunate enough to live in Toulouse in France and Alicante in Spain when studying at the University of Liverpool. I specialised in translation and linguistics while at university and obtained a first class honours degree and a distinction in spoken French. I love to travel and I'm currently living in Italy, taking the opportunity to learn another language and teaching English. Aside from languages, I love sport and cooking.

Teaching Experience:

As part of my role as a foreign language consultant for First Educational, Staffordshire I taught informative French language and communication sessions to members of staff at Stoke City Football Club with varying levels of French experience.

I am also currently employed as an English as a Second Language teacher online with Landi, an online English teaching company.

I have also taught English to groups of French secondary school children through Ardmore, an international languages company.

Teaching Approach:

I approach teaching in a way which encourages students to speak as much as possible. Everybody makes mistakes and nobody will ever remember them. With this in mind, I try to make my lessons as relaxed as possible and ensure that the student leaves with improved language tools and the confidence to use them. Furthermore, I have a fascination with grammar, so for any students who may be struggling with wrapping their head around the difficulties of grammar at GCSE or A-Level, I try to provide straight forward and accessible explanations. As someone who has just graduated from university with a first class honours degree, I have an excellent understanding of what is required to perform well at GCSE and A-level. My distinction in spoken French also means I can help you to prepare for the dreaded oral exams.
