Personal Description:

I’m a multilingual and customer-focused professional with experience across retail, education, and cross-cultural communication. I hold a Master’s in Gender Studies and English from Lancaster University, and earlier trained in optoelectronics, which reflects my ability to adapt across disciplines.

My previous roles have strengthened my interpersonal and public engagement skills. As a Student Ambassador, I represented the university at events, provided campus tours, and helped prospective students feel at ease. I’ve also worked in retail, where I supported customers with care and efficiency in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.

Additionally, I have experience in tutoring and translation, especially in academic environments, and am fluent in Mandarin, English, and French. I’m passionate about supporting diverse communities and making meaningful connections through language and service.

Teaching Experience:

I have tutoring experience in English learning towards students who range from a beginner's to an advanced level.

Teaching Approach:

I am patient when it comes to teaching towards young children, young adults, and more senior adults. My multilingual background makes me compassionate and approachable when students meet difficulties in learning. I can adapt to the students' requirement in step-by-step guidance, or in a more thought-provoking method.
