Hello! My name is Kerry. I am an online French and English Teacher. I am fluent in French and have a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and have been teaching languages successfully for over 10 years. I love teaching languages and meeting new people. I have successfully taught and tutored adults and children from around the world. I work with children, as well as adults, from beginner to advanced levels. I successfully help students prepare for their exams. - Worked for International Baccalaureate on educational resources (French and English) for high school students around the world (2008 - 2011)

- Taught Czech Businessmen and university students English and French for one year (2004 - 2005)

- Taught French students English in French high schools for three years. (2001 - 2004)

- Taught English as a Second language to migrant workers and refugees in America (1997 - 2001)

Teaching Approach:

I tailor my lessons to my students needs. As a fluent French speaker and a native English speaker, I like to take an interactive approach, however also understand the anxiety that can arise from learning to speak a foreign language. I am well versed in French and English grammar, and how best to explain this grammar in a clear and thoughtful way.

French
I have experience teaching primary and secondary (GCSE and A-Level) French, as well as an insight into IB French. My lessons can be tailored to your text book, and can include videos and online games/activities, real life text and situations, as well as grammar if the opportunity presents itself.

English as a Second Language

I have many years experience teaching English as a Second Langauge. I have worked with businessmen and primary aged children. I love sharing my knowledge of English langauge and culture and the joy of learning a foreign language. I also have experience with exam preparation, including IELTS.
