I am native Greek and I have studied Greek Literature at the University of Athens. I did a master's degree in Ancient Drama and I have attended a two-year training course in teaching modern foreign languages. I do enjoy teaching which I find very challenging and rewarding. I have been teaching for more that ten years students of all levels and ages.
Tutor of modern Greek at The Foreign Language Centre/ University of Exeter
Teacher of GCSE Greek at St Peter's Church of England Aided School
Freelance teacher of modern Greek
My teaching depends on the background and the needs of the student. I start my students with speaking from the first lesson and gradually, I introduce them to the structure of the whole language. I show them how to use the language so that they can apply these rules every time they acquire new vocabulary. I use videos and music and I provide handouts with the material of our lesson.
