Personal Description:
I'm a qualified and experienced teacher of English for speakers of other languages. I'm a native English speaker. I've been teaching English for eight years to students from many different countries, and with a wide variety of ability ranges. I have a Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from the Manchester Academy of English.
Teaching Experience:
I have helped many students pass an IELTS exam. If you need help with academic writing or a driving theory test, for example, I have helped students with those or many other kinds of situations, such as gaining the confidence to go shopping or to the hairdresser independently.
Teaching Approach:
I always tailor my lessons to my students' needs. I can help you improve your spoken and written English. You can increase your job opportunities and your ability to communicate socially and professionally. Your first lesson would be a needs assessment. We can your level of English and what improvements you're looking for. I then plan what to cover in the first few lessons, although this can of course be adapted as lessons proceed.
