Personal Description:

I am a passionate and responsible Chinese teacher with a solid foundation in language and cross-cultural communication. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in London, which has given me the opportunity to further broaden my global perspective. I have an optimistic and cheerful personality, and I am known for being patient and attentive. I genuinely enjoy working with children and often interact with them, which has helped me develop a good understanding of how to engage and communicate with young learners. I’m also a keen traveller who loves exploring different cultures, which deepens my appreciation for the power of language in real-life contexts. Through my teaching, I aim to help students discover the beauty of the Chinese language, build their confidence, and enjoy the learning journey.

Teaching Experience:

I have experience in supporting beginners in learning Chinese, including helping them build a strong foundation in pinyin, basic vocabulary, and everyday conversation. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a teaching assistant for international students and participated in language exchange programmes with learners from Europe and North America. These experiences allowed me to develop a clear and encouraging teaching style, as well as a better understanding of how to guide first-time learners through the process of learning Chinese.

Teaching Approach:

I believe in tailoring lessons to suit each learner’s goals and language level. My classes are interactive and engaging, with a focus on real-life application. I incorporate role-playing, daily conversation practice, and cultural topics to help students express themselves confidently in various situations. I also make use of a variety of teaching materials—including images, videos, and mini quizzes—to keep lessons fun and effective. My aim is to help every student feel comfortable speaking Chinese and to enjoy the process of language learning.
