Personal Description:
I am British born, 5ft 8ins tall and fairly slender.
I love to jog as well as gym. I also read a great deal, and love to travel, eat out at restaurants and go to the theatre.
Teaching Experience:
I was self-employed for a number of years. During this time, I worked at Luton Business and Computing College, where I was also the Head of English and Lecturer. I taught advanced, proficiency ad business English to various people from different backgrounds.
I spent 5 years in Italy, where I worked for a language school, as Director and English lecturer. I worked with businesses, elementary and high schools and taught individuals.
Teaching Approach:
I always approach teaching in a positive way. Communicating clearly and concisely, all instructions, so that I can achieve what I require the students to learn.
Drilling and using the Callan Method, I have found, works well.
I would set out tasks for the students to complete, and role playing with the use of games. I also use text books with grammar exercises.
