Information About James - Totnes teacher
This is how a referee rated James:
I am a friendly, informal and dedicated teacher. I look to make learning fun for everyone. I don't have any strict rules on how we work/study: I negotiate with the leaner to decide which approach works best for them.
I have over ten years' experience of teaching all levels and abilities. I have taught at City College Plymouth, I have also taught in language schools around south west Devon. I have taught classes of teenagers, classes of adults and 1:1 tuition sessions from cafes and bars to Eden Project and Plymouth Pavillions. In fact, wherever you want to learn, I will teach you!
I believe in creating a safe environment for learning, where learners feel that they can experiment with the language and make mistakes. We all learn from our mistakes.
I believe in helping learners on the language journey to discover more about themselves as they grapple with the English language.
