Information About Isabelle - Faversham teacher

Personal Description:

I am a native French tutor living in the UK, near Canterbury. I grew up in Nantes (South of Brittany) and also lived in Paris for 7 years. My passion for languages prompted me to move to London in 1999. After spending a year as an au-pair in the US, becoming bilingual was my goal! I also studied Spanish and Japanese and obtained an A-level in both languages.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching French to adult students, via Zoom, since June 2022.

Teaching Approach:

I can offer you bespoke lessons and conversation practice tailored to your needs. As a French expat living in the UK, I am particularly keen to help you if you are planning to move to France to start a new life. Being bilingual enables me to explain the language and cultural differences. Whether you will live in France long-term or just travel there for holiday or business, I can adapt my lessons to suit your situation. As well as conversations, you will learn new vocabulary with each session, essential grammar points, practice pronunciation and communicate with confidence. I use videos and pictures as support for the lessons. I believe that one learns better when the topic is of interest which is why I will be keen to find out about your interests and hobbies to adapt the lessons accordingly.
