Information About Isabel - Eastleigh teacher

Personal Description:

I’m Isabel, originally from Hong Kong 31 years ago, I’ve been living here in Southampton for all these years and I loved it! I have a 19 year old son still living with me. I love learning different things and passionate with language. As a native speaker of Cantonese, I believe this is probably one of the most difficult dialects ever. I also speak Mandarin and eager to teach these languages to my friends here.

Teaching Experience:

I teach Mandarin and Cantonese to my son, friends and their children as a hobby. As they grown and know more words and sentences, they started to understand and speak, I feel so happy and they are appreciative to my teaching too. I realised I am enjoying it a lot, I gain my experience and techniques while I teach and I hope I can expand it and to teach more students.

Teaching Approach:

I love languages, especially my own native language-Chinese. I read extensively, especially Chinese history. I love to start telling my students Chinese history, famous people in different era. Of course it really depends what they want to learn, whether to learn practical words and phrases in a holiday or exams… etc. I will attentively teach as much as I can.
